Description
Ranked among the best coffees in the world thanks to its creamy body, its sweetness and its aromas of chocolate and citrus. In 1857, the cultivation of coffee developed to reach the mountains of Cacahuatique, one of the most important regions for the production of coffee in El Salvador. Its predominant tropical climate provides ideal temperatures for growing high altitude coffee. The mountain range where the plantations are located begins near the border with Honduras, north of the San Miguel region.
